  1. Use energy efficient lights—LEDs are the best choice

While selecting any kind of lighting for your garden, try to divide your garden into zones so that you could have different kind of lighting and shades in different parts of your garden. Though uniformity is also appealing but you can always impart different themes to different parts of the garden.
